OSB

OSB stands for “Oriented Strand Board”. It’s made from thin veneer strands that are bonded together with a synthetic resin. OSB consists of three cross-oriented layers with the surface of the board formed from strands oriented along the length of the board and the core strands arranged in cross orientation. This crosswise orientation of the individual layers achieves a high level of dimensional stability and an good mechanical performance.

Laminated Plywood

Moisture-resistant plywood, with one or both sides coated with phenolic or melamine film - paper impregnated with synthetic resin. Laminated veneer has a high density, abrasion resistance, high strength and is resistant to moisture and chemicals. It is easy to clean and friendly to humans and the environment. Laminated veneer may have smooth or mesh surface and it is available in three combinations:

  • F/F - smooth / smooth, used for concrete formwork in construction, engineering, shipbuilding, manufacture of decorative panels, and manufacture of furniture.
  • F/W - smooth / mesh structure of the surface, is used wherever high wear resistance and a little slippery is needed – in machinery on the floors of vehicles, on the overpasses, in shipbuilding, on footpaths, on the shelves of warehouses, stairwells and floors, etc.
  • W/W - mesh surface structure on both sides.

Moisture-resistant Plywood

Plywood of plywood sawdust is 1.4 mm thick and has a tremendous level of applications: in all types of interior and exterior construction, machinery, furniture manufacturing, production, packaging and packing. The material is harmless to humans and the environment, robust and easily processed.

Varieties and the application

B (I) - first class - polished, defect-free timber is suitable for high-quality transparent or translucent finishes.

S (II) - High Class - Ground, 1 twig defect per square meter, intended for painting, veneering and various laminates.

BB (III) - average quality - polished, twig defects, intended for painting, veneering and various laminates.

CP (III) - medium quality - polished, allowing point branches diameter up to 6mm, painting, veneering and coating with different laminates.

WG (IV) - low quality - polished, black twigs, fallen twigs to 15 mm. The material is applied where appearance is immaterial, in the manufacture of packaging, etc.

C - the lowest grade, not polished, twigs, fallen twigs to 40 mm, applied mainly in construction and manufacturing of packaging and where appearance is immaterial.

MFC

Melamine faced chipboard (MFC) is made on the basis of E1, E0.5, P3-P6 class chipboard (Raw chipboard), surfaced with melamine resin saturated decorative paper (laminate). Surface of the board can be smooth, imitating pores of wood or with "orange skin" effect. Surface of the boards is resistant to high temperature, humidity and household chemicals.
